The Cornflower Room
Our signature chamber, where deep botanical blues meet historic exposed hamstone. Home to our iconic freestanding roll-top bath, this room is equipped with bespoke reading lights and a digital radio to set the mood for a restorative soak. Complete with a salon-quality hairdryer, it’s a space designed for total indulgence.
All rooms feature hotel-grade memory foam mattresses, feather down bedding, and blackout blinds for an uninterrupted night’s sleep.
The Hearth & Hideaway
Designed for the seamless transition from the wild Somerset landscape to indoor comfort, the sitting room features a bespoke 'mud wall'—a dedicated space for your wellies and weather-worn jackets. At its heart, a powerful 5kw wood-burning stove provides a commanding warmth , while two sumptuous double sofas and an authentic Afghan rug invite you to sink in.
Entertainment is effortless with a Smart TV pre-programmed with Amazon Prime and a hand-picked selection of board games. Even your four-legged companion has a place to retreat; our purpose-built 'Dog Snug' is tucked discreetly under the stairs, ensuring everyone has a corner to call their own.
The Kitchen & Dining Area
The kitchen is a soulful space where heritage architecture meets contemporary performance. Locally crafted cabinetry and exposed hamstone create a timeless backdrop for the live-edge oak worktops and our signature Smeg fridge. Whether you’re preparing a feast on the Rangemaster cooker or utilising the discreet dishwasher and washing machine dryer, the space is as functional as it is beautiful.
At the far side of the room, tucked away near the library, the dining area offers a more intimate setting for long, slow breakfasts.
The Library & Study
Designed for both deep focus and quiet contemplation, this room is a dedicated sanctuary for the modern remote worker. A floor-to-ceiling wall of books provides a scholarly backdrop for the bespoke built-in desk, while high-speed Wi-Fi ensures you stay seamlessly connected.
The French doors offer an effortless transition to the private patio, perfect for taking a mid-morning coffee break in the fresh Somerset air before returning to your creative flow.
The Courtyard
This intimate, south-facing sun trap is designed for effortless alfresco living. Enclosed by climbing plants and bathed in tranquil evening lighting, the space is completely secure for both guests and dogs. With direct access from the kitchen and the library, it provides a seamless transition from the house to the fresh Somerset air.
The Shower Room
This compact and efficiently designed space is tailored for a refreshing start to your day. It features a large rainfall shower, a heated towel rail, and an illuminated, steam-free mirror. To complete the boutique experience, we provide a selection of locally made soap, shower gel, and shampoo
